About me

I am a senior in high school and along with art, I am heavily interested in mathematics and computer science. I am constantly driven by my curiosity to learn new things and explore different ways to express my ideas through art.

I began drawing for fun in the 8th grade. I did tiny little sketches with pen and pencil in a little 5.9-by-6.0-inch sketchbook and grew quite fond of drawing, so when I got to high school I started taking art classes. I only really felt comfortable drawing with pen at the time, but I was thrust into the unknown by my art classes. I got to try acrylic, watercolor, charcoal, printmaking, and even spray paint which instilled me with a love for all different kinds and styles of art. Despite this, working with pen and black ink has remained my favorite medium to work in and I almost exclusively practice in my sketchbook with pen alone. Today, art is a crucial part of my life and I use it as a tool to take a step back from my life, reflect, and express my emotions.
